If you have a problem or a crisis which invariably involves other people with situations that seem impossible to deal with at the time, counselling can help. Often the road to recovery involves coming to an understanding of what is going on for you so that self-direction can emerge and a way forward can be found.

Counselling is the process of helping you to explore who you are, why you think and act the way you do and how you can make changes to live in a way that is more fulfilling and acceptable to you. This will inevitably involve how you think about yourself, how you relate to others and the world around you and how you view your journey in the world at any given point.

Even though your particular situation or condition seems utterly devastating counselling can help you see more clearly the answers you are seeking.

Counselling can also greatly help with the process of coming to terms with emotionally challenging life events that at the time can appear almost overbearing. This can relate to bereavement issues concerning the loss of very close family or friends as well as relationship breakdowns that can be equally devastating.

Counselling can offer a breathing space where issues can be explored in confidence when even speaking to our nearest and dearest has the potential to amplify or complicate the problem.
